99.99% read rates in Tokyo Marathon
Motohiko Kato, Head Timer for RECS, pictured the day after the Tokyo Marathon 2015, has something to smile about. At the 2015 Tokyo Marathon, they received 99.99% read rates, the BEST EVER at a major mass participation event. The 2015 Tokyo Marathon took place on February 22nd and had 35897 starters and 34,528 finishers with 14 read point out on the course.

And if that wasn’t enough…On the same day RECS timed an additional ten races with an additional 50,000+ runners, 200 staff working that day, and over 100 elite systems deployed! Amazing!
