Air Force Marathon Selects Active Network to Provide Online Registration and Marketing Services through 2015

December 09, 2010 – The Air Force Marathon, held at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, OH, has selected Active Network to provide online technology and marketing services. Active Network’s wrap-around technology suite, available through its Endurance division, includes online registration, marketing, volunteer management and event management tools. The Air Force Marathon is held the third Saturday in September each year to commemorate the anniversary of the Air Force. In 2011, the Air Force Marathon will celebrate its 15th anniversary and host 13,000 runners. In addition to a full marathon, the 3-day event also includes a half marathon, 10K, and 5K race; a 2-day sports and fitness expo; a race director’s breakfast; and a gourmet pasta dinner.
