  2. Type in your username and password, click log in.
  3. When the page refreshes go to the "Select Listing" drop down bar located in the top left – pull the bar down to select which listing you would like to access.
  4. Once you have selected a listing you will see a set of yellow folders on the left hand side of the page; your registration categories will be listed under the Registration Categories folder.
    • Go to that specific registration category and click on Price/Close Dates.
  5. The last date listed is your close date (when online registration will close) for that category – change the date/time and click save.

Note: If you have more than one registration category you must edit all of the registration category dates to match - if you do not do this the system will only close this specific registration category at this time.

Event Director of the Month

Making a Difference Through Charity Connections
Julian Smith, Race Director
Cooper River Bridge Run

Julian Smith, Cooper River Bridge Run

Julian Smith has been the Race Director of the Cooper River Bridge Run for the last 18 years. During Julian's tenure the Bridge Run has experienced success and growth that has enabled the Race to become one of the premier 10K road races in the Country. When Julian took over the Race in 1991 the budget was $100,000 and had 6,000 participants. The current budget is 2.4 million and participation is close to 40,000.

Early on, Julian focused his attention on the marketing of the Race. He has increased sponsorship dollars to over 1 million. His unique ability to attract sponsors has been one of the many reasons the Race has seen so much success

In recent years, Julian has created a solid charity program. The Race adopts six different charities each year and last year approximately $100,000 was donated to the designated charities. This year, with new initiatives in place, he hopes to greatly surpass last year's total for charitable dollars.

Julian has a staff of five Assistant Race Directors, one store manager and several college interns. As the Race has grown he has learned to delegate and delegate even more in order to keep pace with the increasing numbers of participants. However, he attributes most of the success of the Race to the many thousands of volunteers who not only volunteer on Race Day, but throughout the year.

With Julian Smith's excellent leadership style and hard work, the Bridge Run is a Race that is continuing to grow even in difficult economic times. This Race is one you don't want to miss.
