Setting an Additional Registration Category Price
|
|
|
 |
|
|
Does your event fee increase or decrease as the event date nears? You have the ability to specify the dates and times for when a category price should change and Active will automatically update as necessary.
To add an additional price to a specific registration category, follow these simple steps:
- Login to www.active.com/explorer
- Type in your username and password, and then click "Login".
- When the page refreshes go to the "Select Listing" from the dropdown bar located at the top left. Pull the bar down and select which listing you would like to access.
- Once you have selected a listing; you will see a set of yellow folders on the left-hand side of the page. Under the Registration Categories folder you will see sub folders titled for each of your current categories.
- Click on the specific sub folder for the registration category that you would like to create an additional price to.
- Click Price/Close Dates.
- This page will now allow you to add a price for the chosen registration category.
- Click on "Add Price". (See screenshot #1)

- A second box will appear underneath titled Price 2. This is where the additional category price is added. Insert the second price and the date that on-line registration will close. Screenshot #2 shows that there will be $7.00 increase after Oct.20, 2008 until registration closes on November 1, 2008.
(Note: Price additions and changes have to be added manually for each registration category. These price changes are only applicable to event categories and not prices created in custom questions.)
(Note: All closing times are effective in Pacific Standard Time.)
- Once you are finished click Save Settings.

|
Kristen Aidif has been the race director for the Fifth Third River Bank Run since 1993. Owner of Grand Rapids Event Management, Aidif and her staff worked with the Fifth Third River Bank Run Race Committee to coordinate the event, which has grown from 1,000 runners in 1978 to over 16,000 runners and walkers in 2008. More than 16,000 people are expected to compete in the 2009 event that features the 25K, which is now the largest 25K road race in the country and offers the only 25K wheelchair racing division in the world.
The Official Charity of the 2009 Fifth Third River Bank Run is the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids Strong Kids Healthy U program, an after-school program that provides social and behavioral interventions for at-risk students in grades K-8th through health and fitness activities.
| | |
 | | Healthy U seeks to increase knowledge and understanding of physical activity, good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle |
| | |
 | | Programs are conducted at 34 sites around the Greater Grand Rapids area |
| | |
 | | Fifth Third Bank has played a tremendous role in contributing to the Health U program by donating $1 for each 25K, 10K, 5K Run and 5K Walk entry |
| | |
For the first time, the Fifth Third River Bank Run has also named five Charity Partners who will market their missions to event participants, volunteers and sponsors to raise awareness for their groups and encourage those involved with the event to raise pledges. Information concerning the Charity Partners will be available at www.53riverbankrun.com by early January.

Expertise
I oversee the fulfillment of all purchased promotions for the Endurance market. I work with Event Directors, once they’ve purchased Marketing Services, to gather the appropriate assets for each promotional item. Some of the promotions that I fulfill are Special Offer emails, Custom Frames, Leader Boards, Tile Ads, Rectangles, etc. I have been at Active for 5 ˝ years.
Just for fun
I love hanging out with my friends in Downtown San Diego. Some of my hobbies are camping, going to the beach, running, and riding my bike. I am also on the San Diego Padres Pad Squad.
